Custom Packaging

There's a lot to consider. The most important feature of a reagent chemical, after the purity issue is resolved, is the packaging.  In fact, the integrity of the purity can be affected by the package.  Other factors to consider when looking at the desirability of a particular package should include how it is to be handled within the application; safety, transport within plant, storage, and environmental concerns.

Packaging makes a huge difference in how you utilize a reagent chemical.  In almost all cases it is an advantage to buy them in a package that is as close as possible to the intended use.  Ready to use is highly desirable.

Some potentially hazardous reagents are coming into your plant, and unfortunately pose some elements of risk. The best way to deal with these materials is to mitigate risk by sourcing them in the point-of-use package.

Most on-line(in-line) analyzers use a particular bottle for reagent delivery.  That's the point-of-use package.

In process manufacturing in-house preparations can be replaced with the process reagent, dry or liquid, in the point-of-use package.

In general, high quality, heavy duty containers are needed to maintain purity and integrity.  Each container must also be easy to handle and move about the plant. We're pretty biased about choosing the right package for a given application.

This is called a TightHead and it's favored for the molded handle that's great for industrial environments.  Also ideal outfitting to on-line analyzers or titrator pump reagent lines.  Rugged enough for UN and DOT approval without the use of an outer pack carton.
